Bronze Clinch Nails

Original silicon bronze clinch nails for proper plank replacement in your Lyman.  The Lyman Boat Works perfected the art of lapstrake construction with the development of the duck billed clinch nail.  Far superior to the copper tack for holding power, these nails are made exactly like the originals and most of the nails still sold here are New/Old Stock from the Lyman Boat Works factory. 


I carry six sizes of the clinch nails: 1-1/4", 1-1/16", 1", 7/8", 3/4", and 5/8". 

Call or email if you are uncertain as to which size you need.  Bear in mind that the Lyman planks taper to basically a single lap  thickness forward and aft so you will need shorter nails for those replacement areas.

Clinch nails are sold by the pound at $100.00 per pound or a fraction thereof.  Depending on size, there are approximately 275 of the 1-1/4" nails in a pound and more than that of the shorter nails.
